Annual YM trip into the cabin

Devan says: It was a really good time, but unfortunately the more structured you get the less stories you will have at the end. We had a good time though.

The weather was gorgeous for the annual ward YM trip into the family cabin. We figured this is about the 14th year Jory has taken them in. It is a seven mile trek in. The Young Men and some of the leaders cross-country ski in all of the way, while the other leaders snowmobile in ALL of the gear. Of course Camron got to go because in his mind he is really one of the big boys. Jory said it was funny one time because they were packing the sleds with all the gear while Jory was cleaning up the inside of the cabin. Camron kept coming in to tell him that they weren't packing the sleds right and that he needed to go help them do it right. As if a nine year old would know the right and wrong way. (So glad to see the family gene of compulsive disorder is alive and well still). Devan, Jacob, Dallen, Camron and Jory were all glad to go and were extremely sore and ready for a good rest when they came home. So glad to have great YM leaders that make trips fun.

And what did I do all by myself???? I enjoyed running errands, a little shopping and fun with my sister and a nice visit with my dad.
