The kids wanted something to do for New Year's -- so, dragging my feet I decided to have a party at the last minute. We ended up having a Mexican feast and a whole lot of fun. Everyone played games and we all ate more than we should. After a while Devan brought out the game he wanted to play. That would be a marshmallow eating contest. It was fun to watch. The winner was able to put 13 large marshmallows in his mouth at one time, YUCK. That didn't seem to be enough for Devan, he then had the great idea to shoot the marshmallows with a slingshot into each others mouth. The boys each tried it and at the end Devan was finally able to pull it off shooting a whole in one in Dallen's mouth! Afterwards, Uncle Todd brought a lot of fireworks which we had fun watching. I told everyone that the party was going to end at 10:00pm but it went clear till the New Year. Ashley wouldn't leave until she watched the ball drop on TV. We all cheered and then hugged and wished each other well. Happy New Year everyone!
