Crazy, busy summer fun

We have had a lot of fun the last couple of weeks. We started the beginning of the month up at the family cabin in Fairview. The wildflowers were absolutely beautiful! It is always fun to be with family. On Tuesday it was Devan's birthday and he was able to take the day off. He went golfing with Grandpa and the boys followed by lunch and then always the traditional birthday swim at Aunt Jan's. That evening we had family over for a birthday BBQ. It was a fun day. We love you Devan and hope you had a great day. Thursday brought another adventure heading to Bear Lake. We tied on the kayaks and off we went. We stayed with the Howell gang at a rental cabin. It was up high on the mountain over looking the beautiful lake. The view was breath taking. We enjoyed playing in the water, eating tons of good food as well as fresh raspberry shakes! LaBeaus have the absolute best shakes. The weather, company and activities were GREAT. Sunday morning we headed home for church and drove in the driveway with fifteen minutes to shower and get ready. We actually made it in time for the sacrament. The rest of Sunday was a definite rest day after many late nights playing games. Monday brought another adventure. Aunt Jenny wanted the boys to join her up American Fork canyon to stay the night. We spent the evening cooking tin foil dinners and roasting marshmellows. One of Camron's brand new shoes ended up floating down the river so if anyone has a size two extra shoe let us know to match the one we have left. The week continues with Cub Scout camp and other family activities. We hope your summer is full of fun adventures as well!
